In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our collision repair process, ensuring vehicles are perfectly prepared for repairs and refinished to the highest standards. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help streamline operations, support skilled technicians, and deliver exceptional results for our customers. Responsibilities Prepare vehicles for repair by cleaning, masking, sanding, and performing minor disassembly tasks using hand tools and power tools Assist technicians with auto body repairs, including welding, buffing, and auto painting using airless paint sprayers and other equipment Perform vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and ensure quality standards are met before and after repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment by handling detailing tasks and managing shop supplies Support auto glass replacement and auto restoration projects as needed Assist with heavy lifting and moving vehicles or parts safely around the shop Help with auto estimating tasks by documenting repair needs accurately for processing Experience Dealership or auto body shop experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued Hands-on experience with welding, auto painting, buffing, or detailing is a plus Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance enhances your effectiveness in this role Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and auto glass installation is advantageous Prior experience in auto restoration or mechanic work is beneficial but not mandatory Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills are appreciated as you may interact with clients or support team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in auto body repair while contributing to a high-quality service environment.
