Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Body Shop / Collision Center Manager to lead our collision repair operations with energy and precision. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the body shop, ensuring efficient workflow, exceptional quality repairs, and outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive team performance, maintain safety standards, and uphold the highest levels of auto body repair excellence. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the collision repair team to achieve productivity and quality goals Oversee daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer expectations Manage parts inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement Conduct quality control inspections on completed work such as auto body repair, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and detailing Maintain compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all staff Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair progress and addressing concerns promptly Requirements 5+ years proven experience in dealership or collision center management with a strong background in automotive repair processes Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto body repair techniques, auto painting, auto glass installation, and detailing Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment used in collision repair shops Familiarity with auto restoration projects and general vehicle maintenance procedures Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced setting Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of safety protocols related to automotive repair environments and OSHA regulations The Colonial Automotive Group has 15 locations throughout the Metropolitan Boston, South Shore and Central Mass area.
