Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician, where your expertise in vehicle repair and restoration will bring vehicles back to their original glory! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing damage, performing high-quality repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will be vital in delivering exceptional results that exceed expectations. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage thoroughly and develop effective repair plans using auto body repair techniques. Perform collision repairs, including panel replacement, dent removal, and structural straightening with precision. Use hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicles to factory standards. Apply auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying and auto painting to achieve flawless finishes. Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with care and accuracy. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks, including alignment, detailing, and minor mechanical repairs as needed. Collaborate with customers and team members to ensure clear communication about repair progress and estimated completion times. Experience Prior dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication is essential for quality craftsmanship. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques. Familiarity with auto restoration projects, auto estimating processes, and automotive repair standards is advantageous. Knowledge of auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying enhances your ability to deliver top-tier finishes. Excellent customer service skills paired with a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and auto glass installation are valuable assets.
