Automotive Technician & Detailer (Entry-Level / Apprentice)
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 an hour

[Edgewood, MD] Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Automotive Technician & Detailer to join our team. This position is a huge opportunity to learn the ins and outs of automotive body repair and painting from experienced professionals. If you have a passion for cars, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow your skills in the automotive industry, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Do Underbody Protection:
Apply spray paint and protective coatings underneath vehicles.
Parts Replacement:
Remove and replace basic components like tail lights, trim pieces, and moldings.
Vehicle Detailing:
Clean, vacuum, and polish vehicles to ensure they look pristine for customers.
Bodywork Prep:
Assist with light sanding, masking, and prepping vehicles for body and paintwork.
Shop Support:
Maintain a clean workspace and assist me as needed. Requirements Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (Required). Basic comfort level using hand tools. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical labor. Prior experience in detailing or basic automotive maintenance is a plus, but not required. Benefits & Perks Competitive hourly pay based on experience. On-the-job training and mentorship in detailing, dealership inventory prep, auto body repair and paint.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
