Vehicle Body Polisher

Talascend is currently seeking a Vehicle Body Polisher for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Auburn Hills, Michigan . Overview This role involves performing polishing work on exterior vehicle parts and completed vehicles, ensuring quality and finish standards are met. Responsibilities Wet sanding and rubbing vehicles to production finish standards Identify sanding paint flaws, scratches, and imperfections Rubbing individual auto parts or entire vehicles without burning through paint Recognize the need to ask for assistance if needed Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles for quality issues Document additional quality issues and inform the team leader or manager in a timely manner Maintain a clean work station and work environment Qualifications Valid driver's license Beginner to standard level of paint prep and polish tools experience Experience working in a professional paint or body shop Knowledge of paint equipment and products (polisher, DA, compounds, etc.) Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education We thank all applicants for their interest.
