In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by performing precise auto body repairs, welding, fabrication, and refinishing. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our collision center meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Perform collision repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and structural repairs using MIG welding, soldering, and power tools. Conduct auto body work such as dent removal, sanding, sanding, priming, and painting with airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish. Utilize hand tools and heavy lifting equipment safely to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components during repair processes. Repair or replace auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain detailed documentation of repair procedures, estimates, and parts used; communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status and expectations. Conduct vehicle inspections for mechanical issues, perform basic maintenance tasks, and assist with auto restoration projects as needed. Ensure all repairs adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards while working efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, auto painting, and auto body repair techniques. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including auto glass installation, auto estimating, and auto restoration processes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, airless paint sprayers, and other shop machinery. Familiarity with automotive repair procedures including heavy lifting requirements and the use of specialized equipment for collision repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines.
