This position does not involve passenger vehicles. The ideal candidate is someone who can handle both structural repairs and final paint finishing with precision and pride in their work. If you have a strong background in collision repair and refinishing within the heavy-duty sector, we encourage you to apply. Key Duties Perform repairs on damaged truck and bus bodies, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural corrections. Evaluate vehicle damage and outline effective repair procedures. Use equipment such as welders, frame alignment systems, sanders, and spray guns. Prepare surfaces for refinishing by sanding, masking, and priming. Mix coatings and apply paint to achieve consistent color and professional-grade finishes. Ensure all repairs and refinishing work meet safety and quality expectations. Review completed work to confirm accuracy and completeness. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company policies and safety protocols. Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience working on heavy-duty vehicle body repair (commercial trucks or buses required). Strong background in collision repair, welding, and paint refinishing. Knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle structure, materials, and repair techniques. Ability to operate professional repair and painting equipment. High attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality. Ability to work independently as well as within a team. Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications State of Michigan Body Repair Technician License (or equivalent) is a plus. Additional certifications in collision repair or refinishing are beneficial.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
