In this vital role, you will evaluate vehicle repairs, prepare detailed estimates, and collaborate with technicians and clients to ensure a seamless repair process. Your mechanical knowledge and estimating skills will help deliver top-quality collision repair services while providing a positive experience for our valued customers. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs accurately Utilize estimating software to prepare detailed repair estimates, including parts, labor, and materials Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair scope, costs, and timelines Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to coordinate repairs and ensure quality standards are met Maintain detailed documentation of all estimates, repairs, and client interactions in company systems Stay current with industry trends, collision repair techniques, and updates in estimating software to improve accuracy and efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in auto estimating, collision repair, or auto body work within a dealership or repair shop environment Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members This comprehensive role is perfect for someone passionate about automotive repair who enjoys working directly with customers and has a keen eye for detail.
