Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Collision Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles damaged by collisions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help bring vehicles back to their original condition, providing exceptional service and satisfaction to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair, auto body work, and vehicle restoration to showcase their craftsmanship in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using MIG welding, soldering, and other fabrication techniques Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized auto body equipment to repair and restore vehicle frames and panels with precision Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish that matches the vehicle's original color Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly of repaired parts Ensure all repairs adhere to shop safety protocols and quality guidelines while managing heavy lifting tasks safely Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience highly preferred and/or will consider someone who has moderate skill level with a willingness to learn Proficiency in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and auto body repair techniques Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto restoration, auto painting, light mechanical duties Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and airless paint spraying systems Knowledge of automotive repair processes including auto estimating and vehicle maintenance procedures Ability to lift heavy components safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment Automotive mechanic experience or certifications are a plus but not required; a passion for automotive repair is essential Join our team where your skills will make a real difference!
