Body Shop Estimator Colonial Collision - 1.0 Plymouth, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $30 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Service writing Customer communication Customer service English Phone etiquette Full Job Description Previous experience as an Auto Repair Estimator, Collision Estimator, Service Advisor, or related automotive position Strong knowledge of vehicle repair procedures and parts Ability to inspect vehicles and accurately assess damage Experience writing repair estimates and supplements Familiarity with insurance claims and repair processes Proficiency with estimating software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, etc.) Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Responsibilities Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates Communicate with customers regarding repair costs, timelines, and procedures Work directly with insurance companies and adjusters Create and submit supplements as additional damage is discovered Order and verify parts needed for repairs Monitor repair progress and update customers throughout the process Ensure estimates comply with insurance and industry standards Maintain accurate documentation and repair records Assist in achieving shop sales and profitability goals Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of estimating experience in an automotive repair or collision shop Experience with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex estimating systems Knowledge of OEM repair procedures I-CAR certification (preferred)
