Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto painting, and cosmetic restoration will ensure our customers receive top-quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with welding equipment, sheet metal fabrication tools, and a variety of power tools. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using MIG welding, and fabrication repair techniques Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision Conduct auto painting, auto glass installation, and automotive cosmetic repairs using paint spraying and refinishing techniques Fabricate sheet metal parts and perform welding repairs to restore vehicle integrity and safety standards Assist with auto restoration projects by applying automotive parts installation, detailing, and assembly skills Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role with dealership experience preferred Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and automotive dent repair techniques Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment operation Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive parts installation Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and heavy lifting equipment for vehicle repairs Experience with auto painting, auto restoration, auto refinishing, paint spraying, and detailing processes Ability to work efficiently with automotive cosmetic repair techniques while maintaining high standards of quality Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and estimates Familiarity with auto glass replacement procedures and automotive parts sourcing is a plus Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Join us as an Auto Body Technician where your craftsmanship will directly impact our customers' satisfaction!
