In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will ensure that every vehicle is returned to a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing state. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles, utilizing your technical skills and passion for automotive repair to deliver exceptional results. Whether performing collision repairs, auto painting, or auto restoration projects, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine the scope of repairs needed, including sheet metal work, auto glass replacement, and auto painting. Execute auto body repairs using hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, soldering, and airless paint spraying techniques to restore vehicles to factory standards. Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components using sheet metal fabrication skills and mechanical knowledge. Perform auto restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged parts, ensuring proper assembly and alignment of vehicle panels and components. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto estimating, and detailed inspections to identify additional issues requiring attention. Use auto body repair techniques to restore vehicles affected by collisions or wear-and-tear while maintaining safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for automotive repairs. Experience with auto painting techniques is desirable. Familiarity with auto glass replacement, auto estimating software, and auto restoration projects is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for heavy lifting during repairs. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety standards.
