Customer Care & Logistics Technician Overview:

Customer Care & Logistics Technician Pay:
$27/hour (Fridley, MN)
Customer Care & Logistics Technician Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Customer Care & Logistics Technician Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance or equivalent experience, preferred. Minimum two years' experience in customer service, logistics, or related field. Ability to solve issues related to orders.
Customer Care & Logistics Technician Key Requirements:
Knowledge (theoretical or practical understanding of a subject) Understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures, including freight coordination and documentation. Familiarity with inventory management systems and ordering processing workflows. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Basic understanding of credit card processing and financial transactions. Knowledge of debt insurance processed and credit checks. Skills (proficiencies developed through training or experience) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with customers, vendors and internal teams. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP (SAP) and CRM systems. Attention to detail in preparing shipping documents, processing payments, and maintaining records. Problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and logistic challenges. Ability to analyze freight quotes and negotiate competitive pricing. Abilities (qualities of being able to do something) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs during organizational transitions. Ability to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures related to customer care and logistics.
Customer Care & Logistics Technician Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics services by sourcing freight providers, requesting quotes, determining optimal shipping methods and locations, and preparing bills of lading and shipment documentation. Provide accurate and timely information to customers and sales representatives regarding inventory availability, order status, pricing and shipping details. Assist with documentation for international shipments and serve as the primary contact for international customers, particularly in Canada. Support international container shipment by ensuring proper loading procedures, documentation signatures, seal placement, and paperwork completion. Collaborate with production planning to ensure warehouse inventory levels meet customer demand and order fulfillment timelines. Process and verify credit card payments securely and accurately. Respond to customer inquiries related to products, billing, freight, and other service-related matters. Work closely with freight vendors to secure competitive pricing and maintain a strong vendor relationship. Handle special requests from sales representatives, including R D samples, sales data, and inventory reports. Arrange domestic and international freight for customer orders. Receive and process all domestic and incoming orders, releasing stock for collections as appropriate. Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive organizational information. Maintain accurate records by scanning and distributing invoices, debit memos, and credit memos to customers. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
