Auto Body Technician

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using hand tools and power tools. Use MIG welding, and sheet metal fabrication skills to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately. Replace auto glass and perform auto glass installation with attention to detail. Maintain mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance tasks and ensure proper assembly of repaired components. Prepare vehicles for customer delivery by detailing work areas, inspecting repairs, and ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with estimators and customers to clarify repair scopes and provide excellent customer service throughout the process. Qualifications extensive auto body repair background preferred. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in automotive repair and auto painting. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto restoration processes. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Knowledge of auto glass installation, auto painting (including airless spray), and auto body detailing is highly desirable. Pay:

$22.00 - $40.00 per hour
