Hendrick Collision Center Durham:

What We're Looking For Experience as Collision Technician in a Production Shop (3+ years preferred) Proficiency in structural, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs I-CAR certification or OEM training a plus (BMW, Mercedes, Tesla, GM or Honda) Team-oriented with a commitment to quality and efficiency

$85,000 - $150,000 per year

What You'll Do:
Our Technicians perform high-quality collision and body repairs ranging from light cosmetic to structural and non-structural work. Our Technicians produce OEM standard body repairs all while meeting repair timelines and upholding the standards our customers expect from a Hendrick facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Examines body damage on customer vehicles Identifies necessary body repair work Estimates cost of body work Requests necessary parts Performs body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts Documents repairs performed Performs body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelines Maintains CSI at or above Company standards Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Participates in required training Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrates the Company's Core Values Complies with Company policies and procedures Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Other duties as assigned
Shop Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM What you'll need: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Candidates must have demonstrable knowledge of body repair methods, and ability to operate equipment necessary to perform Collision Center repair functions. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Valid Driver's License (Required)
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Field Of Study (If Applicable):
Automotive Technology, Autobody Repair Technology, or Collision Repair and Refinish Technology Experience:
(Required) Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience ( 5+ preferred) as a collision repair or auto body technician, with hands-on expertise in both structural and non-structural repairs.
OEM Certifications are a plus:
Mercedes, BMW, Tesla, Honda, or GM! Other skills and demands necessary for success in this role include:
