Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced automotive structural repair techniques, auto body repair skills, and fabrication methods. Your expertise in welding, sanding, painting, and vehicle maintenance will ensure that each vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art automotive welding equipment and auto restoration techniques, delivering exceptional results for our valued customers. Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic refinishing using sheet metal, sanding tools, and power tools to restore vehicles to factory specifications. Conduct welding repairs utilizing MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques to ensure durable and precise fixes. Use auto painting and auto glass installation techniques, including airless paint spraying, to achieve flawless finishes that meet industry standards. Execute auto parts installation, vehicle alignment, and detailing tasks to enhance vehicle appearance and functionality. Apply automotive dent repair methods and sheet metal work to correct damage efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on auto restoration projects and assist in estimating repairs for customer service excellence. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines during heavy lifting and the use of power tools. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or repair shop environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, auto painting, and cosmetic repair techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, fabrication methods, and the use of automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, parts installation, auto glass replacement, and automotive repair processes. Skilled in handling hand tools, sanding tools, power tools, and other fabrication or assembly equipment. Experience with auto estimating software is a plus; excellent customer service skills are essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working efficiently under pressure. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
