Auto Body Technician

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using advanced techniques and tools. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to repair sheet metal and structural components accurately. Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components to meet specific repair needs, ensuring proper fit and finish. Operate power tools, hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment safely and efficiently during repairs. Conduct auto painting and auto glass replacement with attention to detail, ensuring a flawless finish that matches the vehicle's original appearance. Assess vehicle damage thoroughly using auto estimating software; communicate repair plans clearly to customers. Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to safety standards; assist with vehicle detailing and final inspections before return to the customer. Qualifications Proven dealership or auto body shop experience demonstrating proficiency in auto body repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and restoration projects. Skilled in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and the use of power tools and hand tools. Knowledge of auto painting processes including airless paint spraying techniques. Familiarity with auto glass installation and auto estimating software is preferred. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair details clearly and professionally. Pay:

$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
