Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Combo Auto Body Technician, where your expertise will transform damaged vehicles into pristine, road-ready masterpieces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of auto body repairs, combining precision craftsmanship with innovative techniques. As a vital member of our service department, you'll leverage your skills in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle restoration to deliver exceptional results that exceed customer expectations. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools and power tools. Conduct MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to restore structural integrity of vehicles. Fabricate custom parts and modify existing components to meet specific repair requirements. Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying equipment and perform detailing to ensure flawless finishes. Replace and repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision. Utilize auto estimating software to assess damages and prepare repair plans accurately. Assist with auto restoration projects by restoring vintage or damaged vehicles to their original condition through meticulous craftsmanship. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Skilled in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and auto painting techniques including airless spray systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, and auto glass installation. Familiarity with auto estimating tools, heavy lifting procedures, and the use of various hand and power tools required for detailed repairs. Knowledge of automotive systems, auto restoration processes, and the use of welding equipment such as soldering irons and welding machines. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly and professionally. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards for every vehicle repaired.
