Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Class A Technician specializing in auto body repair and mechanical services. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including dealership models, heavy equipment, and diesel engines. As a vital member of our team, you will perform comprehensive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Conduct detailed auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, and painting to restore vehicles to their original condition. Perform mechanical repairs on diverse vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical systems. Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions. Service vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to optimize vehicle performance. Repair and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics with expertise in powertrain systems and air brake components. Work with automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other modern vehicle technologies to ensure optimal operation. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service. Expertise in automotive schematics interpretation and diagnostics for accurate troubleshooting. Extensive knowledge of ADAS technology, diesel engine repair, transmission repair, and suspension systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with automotive estimating processes and auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to perform precise alignments, shocks & struts replacement, tire service, brake repair, and general mechanical repair. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous.
