Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will ensure that each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and structural components Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components to ensure proper fitment and finish Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, flawless finishes Replace or repair auto glass with precision and care, ensuring proper sealing and alignment Maintain mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed Detail repaired vehicles by sanding, buffing, polishing, and applying finishing touches to meet quality standards Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing damages accurately and providing detailed repair estimates Support auto restoration projects by restoring vintage or classic vehicles with meticulous attention to detail Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively during all repair procedures Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair preferred Hands-on experience with MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and auto painting techniques Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and vehicle maintenance Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and welding apparatus Experience working with auto glass replacement and auto restoration projects highly desirable Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service principles is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join our team as an Auto Body Technician where your expertise will drive excellence!
