Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Helper to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will assist skilled technicians in performing a variety of auto body repair tasks, ensuring vehicles are restored to their optimal condition with precision and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in auto body work, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance while contributing to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Assist with auto body repairs, including sanding, masking, and prepping vehicles for painting or finishing Support technicians with sheet metal work, welding (including MIG welding), soldering, and fabrication tasks Handle heavy lifting and move parts or equipment safely around the shop Use hand tools and power tools for various repair tasks, ensuring quality workmanship Aid in auto glass replacement, auto painting, and airless paint spraying processes Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and materials Contribute to vehicle detailing, assembly, and auto restoration projects as needed Support vehicle maintenance activities such as mechanical checks and minor repairs to ensure safety and functionality Assist with auto estimating documentation by providing accurate details on repairs performed Experience Previous dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred Hands-on experience with auto body repair techniques including sheet metal work, welding (MIG welding), soldering, and fabrication Knowledge of automotive systems, mechanical components, and vehicle maintenance practices Familiarity with auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying and auto finishing processes Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for auto repair tasks Experience working with auto glass replacement or auto restoration projects is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent attention to detail and safety awareness Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with clients during the repair process Join us in delivering top-quality auto body repairs by supporting our talented team! Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
