In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing vehicles for repair, performing bodywork, detailing, and assisting with various tasks in the body shop. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help ensure every vehicle meets our high standards of excellence. Duties Assist with the preparation of vehicles for repairs by cleaning, sanding, masking, and minor disassembly Perform bodywork repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and welding as needed Conduct detailing tasks such as cleaning interiors, polishing surfaces, and applying protective coatings Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform various repair and prep tasks efficiently Aid in vehicle maintenance procedures including fluid checks, tire rotations, and basic mechanical repairs Assist with auto restoration projects by stripping old paint, sanding surfaces, and preparing vehicles for finishing Skills Prior dealership or auto body shop experience is highly preferred Proficiency in welding techniques for auto body repairs Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and maintenance Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment Knowledge of auto painting techniques including buffing and finishing processes Experience with auto detailing, buffing, and auto glass installation or repair Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service principles is a plus Auto restoration experience or mechanic background is advantageous for growth opportunities Join our team if you're passionate about cars, eager to learn new skills, and ready to contribute to a vibrant work environment where quality work is celebrated.
