Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Body Estimator to join our team! Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of collision or repair needs. Prepare detailed, accurate estimates using advanced estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair procedures, costs, and timelines, ensuring transparency and trust. Collaborate with technicians, mechanics, and shop managers to coordinate repairs and ensure quality standards are met. Identify opportunities for upselling additional services such as OEM parts and self- pay repairs to enhance revenue. Manage client communication from initial estimate through completion, providing updates and answering questions promptly. Maintain detailed records of estimates, repairs, parts orders, and customer interactions to ensure smooth workflow and accountability. Skills Proven experience in auto estimating software and familiarity with computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic or service technician preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, collision repair processes, and automotive service management. Ability to identify additional repair opportunities through upselling techniques while maintaining integrity. Experience in dealership settings or auto body shops is highly desirable.
