Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Flat Rate Metal Technician to join our collision team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collision repair, particularly with frame straightening, panel replacement, and structural repair work. This is a great opportunity for a motivated technician who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume shop.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural and non-structural repairs on damaged vehicles to OEM standards Replace or repair damaged panels, frame components, and other metal body parts Operate frame machines, welding equipment, and hand/power tools Work collaboratively with estimators, painters, and other technicians to ensure seamless repair flow Adhere to safety procedures and environmental regulations Maintain accurate records of work completed and hours billed

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a metal technician in a collision repair setting I-CAR or ASE certifications a plus (but not required) Proficient in frame straightening and unibody repairs Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and OEM repair procedures Own tools required; specialty equipment provided Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Valid driver's license and clean driving record
