Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician/ PAINTER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, along with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle body damage, ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and paint refinishing. Utilize auto estimating software to assess damage and provide accurate repair quotes. Employ hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Conduct buffing and detailing of vehicles to restore their appearance post-repair. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process. Assist in auto glass replacement as needed, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Stay updated on the latest techniques in auto body repair and restoration. Qualifications Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred. Strong skills in auto estimating, auto restoration, and customer service are highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to the automotive industry. Ability to perform buffing and detailing tasks with attention to detail. Knowledge of mechanic principles related to vehicle bodywork is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in auto body repair are advantageous.
