Role and Team Reporting to the Body Shop or designated Manager, perform body repair work in a production environment. Maintain high standards for efficiency and observe all safety requirements. Perform all additional duties assigned by the manager. Responsibilities Remove, repair, or replace damaged parts Properly fill and sand in preparation for paint process Use welding, soldering, and cutting torches as required Perform visual and feel quality inspection prior to the spraying of any product to ensure the vehicle is properly prepped for paint. Ensure vehicles are properly cleaned and dusted prior to painting May mask vehicles in preparation for paint process Communicate with other technicians to meet production goals and customer standards Clean equipment to ensure proper maintenance Assist with general shop cleanliness and organization Provide prompt and courteous service to all. Maintain a professional appearance and neat work environment. Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and advise management of all serious complaints or incidents. Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance. Inform the Body Shop Supervisor or Manager of all equipment breakdowns and maintenance immediately. Promote and follow safety policies.
