Job Description
Job Summary D & F Collision is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Auto Body Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, preparing accurate repair estimates, communicating with customers and insurance companies, and helping ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage. Prepare accurate repair estimates using CCC ONE. Identify required parts, labor, and materials needed for repairs. Communicate repair procedures, timelines, and costs with customers. Work directly with insurance companies and adjusters to negotiate supplements and approvals. Coordinate with technicians to ensure repair plans are accurate and complete. Monitor repair progress and provide customers with status updates. Maintain detailed documentation and repair records. Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards. Deliver exceptional customer service from vehicle intake through delivery. Qualifications Previous collision estimating or auto body experience preferred. Knowledge of collision repair procedures and automotive parts. Experience with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or similar estimating software preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Computer proficiency and attention to detail.
