Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic collision repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert auto body repairs, welding, fabrication, and finishing. Your skills will help ensure our customers receive safe, high-quality repairs with an emphasis on precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening using hand tools and power tools. Conduct MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately. Repair or replace auto glass and perform auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques for flawless finishes. Utilize auto estimating software to assess damage and determine repair scope while maintaining detailed repair documentation. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work as needed. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations by inspecting completed work thoroughly. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and equipment operation. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or background in automotive collision repair preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding techniques, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto body repair, auto painting, and auto glass replacement. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and detailing equipment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including auto restoration and assembly processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. $52,000.00 - $126,000.00 per year
