Job Description
- First Student is hiring an Auto Body Mechanic in Pittsburg, PA. serving the Pittsburgh School District!
Starting Pay Rate:
$27.50Hours:

$27.50- (NOT flat rate). + Bonus rate increase $.25 for each ASE School Bus Series test passed and maintained (up to $2/hour more). + Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm day shift schedule with consistent, year-round work. + Company-paid ASE testing and training materials. + Company-paid CDL Class B training and licensing. +

- About the
Auto Body Mechanic Position:
- As an Auto Body Mechanic with First Student, you will perform automotive body repairs, including straightening bent bodies, removing dents, and replacing damaged parts.
Other major job duties include:
+ Performs damaged sheet metal and body repairs. remove, replace, or repair body parts using hand and power tools + Documents all repair and maintenance actions on work orders + Ensures vehicle security and safety while in the shop + Provides written estimates of repair when requestedAuto Body Shop Mechanic Qualifications:
- + Valid driver's license + Must have your own tools + Auto Body & Collision Damage repair certificates preferred + 1-2 years of experience within an auto body repair facility + ASE credentials or ability to obtain (we pay for material and testing) + Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
