Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented flat rate Collision Center A or B Technician to join our automotive collision repair team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in automotive body repair, welding, fabrication, and mechanical maintenance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects including auto collision, structural repairs, and cosmetic enhancements. The Technician will be instrumental in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic restorations with precision and attention to detail Conduct welding repairs using MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, and soldering techniques Utilize fabrication repair techniques involving sheet metal, aluminum, and other materials to restore vehicle frames and panels Operate hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for various repair tasks Install automotive parts including glass, panels, trim, and other components with accuracy Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as detailing, auto glass replacement, and general mechanical repairs Assist in auto supplements when necessary Perform heavy lifting safely during parts installation or assembly procedures Maintain a clean workspace adhering to safety standards and best practices Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician High volume collision center experience is highly desirable Proficiency in MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and auto restoration processes Familiarity with sheet metal work, auto painting, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair methods Experience with auto parts installation, auto glass replacement, and auto body refinishing Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other workshop equipment safely Knowledge of automotive dent repair, structural repair techniques, (specifically frame machine experience) Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a physically demanding environment Sufficient mechanical skills combined with attention to detail for precise repairs
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 - 60.0 per weekBenefits:
