In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert collision repair, structural alignment, and refinishing techniques. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle not only looks impeccable but also meets safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair, with a focus on precision, craftsmanship, and quality. Whether working on minor cosmetic fixes or major structural repairs, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional results that exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities Perform automotive body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Conduct auto painting and refinishing using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately. Fabricate and modify sheet metal components to match vehicle specifications, employing fabrication repair techniques as needed. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, trim pieces, and other components with precision to restore vehicle integrity. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs including sanding, detailing, and paint correction to enhance vehicle appearance. Assist with auto restoration projects by applying automotive structural repair skills and working with automotive parts installation. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and use of welding or painting equipment. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating processes to ensure accurate assessment of repair needs and timelines. Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician with dealership or collision center background preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair techniques, and fabrication methods essential for structural repairs. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, parts installation, and auto maintenance procedures. Expertise in auto body repair including dent removal, sheet metal work, and automotive cosmetic repairs. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment for efficient repairs. Knowledge of auto painting processes such as auto body refinishing and airless paint spraying for high-quality finishes. Ability to perform auto glass replacement and automotive parts installation accurately. Familiarity with auto estimating software and procedures for assessing repair scope. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs. Mechanical experience that supports troubleshooting vehicle issues related to structural damage or cosmetic wear.
