Auto Body Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Perform auto body repairs and restoration on a variety of vehicles
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed
• Utilize airless paint spraying techniques to apply paint and finish to repaired areas
• Detail vehicles to ensure a clean and polished appearance
• Lift heavy objects, such as vehicle parts or equipment, as required
• Conduct auto estimating to determine the cost of repairs and materials needed
• Solder and weld damaged parts as necessary
• Collaborate with mechanics and other technicians to ensure proper vehicle maintenance
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and processes with 5 years experience
• Proficiency in assembling and disassembling vehicle parts
• Experience with airless paint spraying techniques for a smooth finish
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
• Physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects
• Familiarity with auto estimating procedures for accurate cost assessment
• Basic soldering skills for repairing damaged parts
• Understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance procedures
