Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, and fabrication will be essential in delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment using hand tools and power tools. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a smooth, professional finish. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and structural components. Replace and install auto glass with precision, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using sheet metal and fabrication skills to meet specific repair needs. Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify additional repairs or maintenance required, including auto restoration projects. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding the work process. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills is a plus. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and operate various hand tools, power tools, and auto repair equipment efficiently. Knowledge of auto painting processes, including airless paint spraying methods. Familiarity with auto glass replacement, sheet metal work, and auto restoration projects. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
