In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. We are a new family owned auto body shop in Lewisville. We are looking for someone to help us with our body work coming in. Hours are flexible. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using advanced tools and techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to repair or fabricate sheet metal components. Conduct auto painting and auto glass replacement with attention to detail, ensuring flawless finishes using airless paint spraying equipment. Operate power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively for various repair tasks. Assess vehicle damage accurately, prepare estimates, and communicate repair plans clearly to customers and team members. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work as needed. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, quality expectations, and dealership or shop guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and auto painting techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform vehicle maintenance and automotive repairs confidently. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto glass installation equipment, and auto estimating software. Experience with auto restoration projects and auto body detailing to achieve high-quality finishes. Knowledge of auto glass replacement procedures and auto painting processes including airless paint spraying. Ability to lift heavy parts safely during repairs and possess excellent customer service skills for effective communication with clients.
