$70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Job description: Job Summary Beckstrom on 2nd is seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our growing team in Ogden, Utah. Applicants must have a minimum of 2-3 years of professional Auto Body Painter experience. We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in automotive refinishing and paint application who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. The ideal candidate will have experience painting cars, SUVs, and trucks while maintaining industry standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform all aspects of automotive paint preparation and application. Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and filling as needed. Mix and match paint colors to achieve accurate color reproduction and seamless blends. Apply primers, sealers, base coats, and clear coats according to manufacturer specifications. Operate spray guns and related painting equipment safely and effectively. Inspect completed work for quality and correct imperfections such as runs, sags, chips, or scratches. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations regarding paint products and hazardous materials. Meet production deadlines while maintaining exceptional workmanship. Collaborate with technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow. Stay current with industry techniques and refinishing technology. Qualifications Required Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Auto Body Painter Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems, refinishing techniques, and color matching. Ability to blend and match colors accurately. Experience painting cars, SUVs, and trucks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred I-CAR, ASE, or other industry certifications. Experience in a high-volume collision repair environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in various positions throughout the day.
