Job Description

Malloy Collision Center is is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our busy collision repair team. We are looking for a professional who specializes in structural and cosmetic restoration, ensuring every vehicle is returned to our customers in pristine condition.

Flexible Work Schedule A Level Body Shop Service Technician Responsibilities:
Scan vehicles pre and post
Structural Restoration:
Review damage reports and utilize specialized alignment equipment to restore vehicle frames and unibody structures to factory specifications.
Panel and Body Work:
Remove, repair, and replace damaged body panels, fenders, doors, and trim pieces with precision.
Welding and Bonding:
Utilize appropriate welding techniques and structural adhesives for steel and aluminum components according to manufacturer guidelines.
Mechanical Assistance:
Tear down damaged sections of the vehicle and pre-fit components to ensure a seamless fit before the vehicle moves to the paint department.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Collision Estimators and the Parts Department to ensure accurate supplements and timely workflow.
Quality Control:
Perform final inspections on your structural and cosmetic repairs to maintain the Malloy standard of excellence. Mechanical work and A/C work.
A Level Body Shop Service Technician Qualifications:
Proven track record of high-quality collision repair work in a professional shop environment, 5+ years experience I-CAR or ASE certifications in Collision Repair are highly preferred. Welding certifications preferred. OEM certifications a plus. Able to do big or hard hits Strong attention to detail and a commitment to restoring vehicles safely and correctly.
Tools:
Ownership of a professional set of body shop and collision repair tools. Ability to work efficiently and maintain high productivity in a flat-rate shop. Team-player attitude with a strong focus on maintaining a safe, clean work area. Valid U.S. driver's license with a safe driving record. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
