Job Description
Overview Immediate opening for an experienced collision refinish technician in beautiful Eastern Washington! We are a family owned business with over 40 years in this area. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for restoring damaged vehicle surfaces through precise sanding, painting, coating, and finishing techniques. Your skills will ensure each vehicle leaves our shop looking flawless and meeting the highest standards of quality. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray guns and airless paint sprayers with precision and consistency. Use hand tools and power tools such as grinders, sanders, and buffing machines to achieve smooth finishes. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols including proper respiratory protection. Requirements Proven experience in collision repair or auto body refinishing Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, grinders, sanders, and buffing equipment. Skilled in surface preparation, masking techniques, sanding, painting, coating spray guns, and auto restoration processes. Knowledge of automotive paints, primers, coatings, and surface preparation materials. Ability to operate power tools safely while following all safety guidelines including respiratory protection measures. Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during repairs.
