Job Description
Auto Body Technician- A Tech Position will be responsible for wide variety of job duties including but not limited to: Reviewing initial repair plans and labor sheets. Reviewing all necessary repair procedures. Completely disassembling vehicles and all related components for blueprinting. Identifying all required repairs and or parts replacement. Measuring vehicle for potential structural damage. Assisting estimators in creating an accurate supplement and repair plan. Performing Body repairs, panel replacements (weld on and bolt on) and structural repairs as needed to achieve a complete and quality repair. Reassembling the vehicle once refinish is complete, ensuring that fit and finish meets company standards and that all components and functions are operating correctly. Company provides all necessary large equipment for collision repair center including: 2-post lifts, Car-O-Liner frame benches, EVO fixturing equipment, Chief frame rack, Car-O-Liner / Chief Meridian measuring systems, Pro-Spot / Chief MIG welders and Spot welders, Pro-Spot / Be Tag aluminum and steel dent pulling systems, sanding vacuum systems, parts carts and dedicated parts storage areas.
