Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and bring vehicles back to life with precision, skill, and passion! In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic refinishing. You'll utilize advanced welding techniques, fabrication skills, and a variety of hand and power tools to restore vehicles to their original condition. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of safety, appearance, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians eager to showcase their craftsmanship in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs using MIG welding, soldering, and welding repair techniques to restore vehicle frames and body components. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, auto restoration, and automotive cosmetic repair. Use sanding tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and auto painting techniques to refinish vehicle surfaces with precision. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, trim pieces, and other components using hand tools and assembly methods. Apply automotive welding equipment for fabrication repair techniques and ensure all repairs meet safety standards. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks including auto parts installation, detailing, and automotive parts replacement. Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper use of power tools for efficient workflow. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process. Assist in auto estimating procedures when necessary to determine scope of work and repair costs. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or independent shop environment. Strong background in auto body repair, automotive structural repair, and auto restoration techniques. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication using automotive welding equipment. Familiarity with sheet metal work, auto painting, sanding tools, airless paint spraying, and automotive cosmetic repair processes. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to support comprehensive repairs and diagnostics. Experience with auto glass installation and automotive parts installation is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills combined with a solid understanding of auto estimating procedures. $31.00 - $34.00 per hour
