Job Description
Overview Cardinal Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our collision repair team. This is a full-time position responsible for repairing damaged vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition, and maintaining the high standards our customers expect. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $27.00 per hour and is based on experience, skill level, certifications, and overall ability. Candidates with prior collision repair experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Perform collision repair and bodywork on damaged vehicles Repair or replace body panels, bumpers, and related components Straighten frames and structural components as needed Prepare vehicles for refinishing and paint work Review repair orders and complete work according to specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate effectively with management and team members throughout the repair process Ensure repairs meet dealership and manufacturer quality standards Requirements Previous auto body repair experience required Knowledge of collision repair techniques and equipment Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Strong attention to detail Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a shop environment throughout the day Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record I-CAR, ASE, or other industry certifications are a plus, but not required Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Employee vehicle purchase program Ongoing training and career development opportunities Cardinal Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer and values employees who take pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, and are committed to delivering quality repairs.
