Job Description

Job overview: Seeking reliable technicians to join our network of independent contractors to perform fleet automotive electronics installations. Work includes traveling to customer locations, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing GPS trackers and cameras in vehicles. This is 1099 contract work. Contractors are able to accept jobs based on availability and preferences. Compensation is competitive and includes pay for completed jobs as well as all travel.
Description of work:
Understand and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and install guides to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Utilize hand and power tools to complete professional installations. Perform diagnostics using automotive electrical devices related to vehicle wiring. Ensure all installed systems function correctly and meet quality standards. Coordinate with Quality Control team at the start of each job to review scope of work, specifications, and quality expectations. Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate professionally with customers. Requirements Experience in one or more of the following electronics installations in vehicles - GPS, cameras, car audio, remote starts, alarms, vehicle lighting, etc. Understanding of low-voltage vehicle wiring. Own tools and materials necessary to perform professional installations. Verify installations, submit online documentation, and communicate as needed.​ Professionalism, quality work, communication, and customer service.​ Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.​ Pass a background check.​
Pay:
$30.00 - $60.00 per hour
