The ideal candidate has extensive experience with automotive film installation, precision cutting (hand-cut and plotter), and delivering high-quality, bubble / debris -free finishes across a wide range of vehicle types. This role requires strong technical expertise, efficiency, and a commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Install automotive window tint on sedans, SUVs, trucks, and specialty vehicles with high precision and consistency Perform full vehicle tint jobs, including rear windows, windshields (where legal), and sun strips Cut and shrink film using both hand-cut and computer-cut (plotter) methods Ensure proper film alignment, heat shrinking, and edge finishing for a clean, professional result Inspect vehicles before and after installation to maintain quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tint bay and tools Communicate professionally with customers regarding tint options, care instructions, and expectations Remove old or damaged tint film safely without damaging glass or defrosters Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer installation guidelines Meet daily productivity and quality targets Required Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of professional automotive window tinting experience (preferred 3+ years) Proven experience with heat shrinking and contouring curved glass Strong knowledge of various film types (ceramic, carbon, dyed, and specialty films) Ability to hand-cut and/or use plotter software and cutting systems High attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred) Strong time management and efficiency in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills Experience with PPF (Paint Protection Film) or vinyl wrap (plus but not required) Familiarity with top film brands such as 3M, Llumar, SunTek, XPEL, etc. Basic customer service and sales communication skills Experience working in a high-volume tint shop or automotive customization environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and work on vehicles for extended periods Manual dexterity and steady hand control for precision installations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Comfortable working in a shop environment with heat tools and equipment Work Environment Professional automotive shop setting Climate-controlled tint bay (if applicable) Team-oriented but performance-driven atmosphere Compensation & Benefits (Optional - Customize as Needed) Competitive hourly pay based on experience Performance bonuses and commission opportunities Paid training (if applicable) Employee discounts on tint and services Paid time off and holiday pay (for full-time employees) Opportunities for advancement into lead installer or shop manager roles Why Join Our Team?
