Automotive Glass Technician .

Pay:

No experience: Starting at $15/hour with opportunities for pay increases Experienced technician: Starting at $22/hour DOE with opportunities for pay increases Must have at least 1 year of automotive glass installation experience to qualify for experienced technician pay.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday:

8:30 AM-5:15 PM Must also be available at least 2 Saturdays per month from 8:45 AM-2:15 PM Experience in the auto glass industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!

What We're Looking For:

Current and valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing Dependable, accountable, and punctual Self-motivated and able to stay on task without constant supervision Hardworking and detail-oriented Trustworthy with a positive attitude Great customer service and communication skills Professional appearance Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; Spanish is a plus Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in different weather conditions Able to work under pressure and problem-solve Basic knowledge of tools Quick learner and team player

Job Duties Include:

Repairing rock chips and damaged windshields Removing and installing windshields and other automotive glass Properly sealing and weatherproofing installed glass Traveling to customers for mobile repairs and replacements Removing and reinstalling moldings, wipers, clips, bolts, screws, and other components Inspecting vehicles for rust, damage, or other issues that could affect installation Cleaning and preparing glass and vehicle surfaces before installation Using adhesives, moldings, clips, and other materials to properly install glass Using a variety of automotive glass tools and equipment Performing vehicle recalibrations using the proper equipment when required Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism Helping provide estimates and communicating with customers when needed We are looking for someone who wants to learn, work hard, and grow with our company.
