Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Repair and maintain powertrain components such as engines, transmissions, and drive axles with precision and attention to detail. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to ensure proper handling and safety standards. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical faults effectively and efficiently. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles when applicable. Execute routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to uphold manufacturer standards. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations for ongoing maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using automotive diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics. Familiarity with ADAS technology, automotive electrical systems, and vehicle transmission system repair. Experience working with diesel engines is highly desirable. Proficiency in vehicle maintenance routines including wheel alignments and suspension system repairs. Ability to read automotive wiring diagrams accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment. Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions. Knowledge of auto estimating processes is a plus for efficient workflow management. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
