This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on automotive repair expertise with leadership responsibilities, helping us establish a top-tier service center. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs. Your expertise will drive operational excellence, foster team growth, and contribute to the success of our expanding facility. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including GM models and diesel engines Lead daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, safety compliance, and high standards of quality in all service activities Assist in building the location by recruiting, training, and mentoring technicians and support staff Conduct vehicle inspections using schematics, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and electrical system diagnostics to identify issues accurately Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to perform repairs such as powertrain work, transmissions, alignments, and electrical system troubleshooting Manage customer interactions professionally by explaining repairs clearly, providing estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including auto estimating documentation and service reports Requirements Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service management Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics tools Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, powertrain repairs, transmission servicing, and diesel engine repair Mechanical aptitude complemented by familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software Prior experience working with variety of vehicles is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Service technician experience with a focus on automotive electrical systems and transmissions is highly valued Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Automotive industry certifications or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) credentials are advantageous Join us if you're ready to energize your career by building a thriving location where your skills make an immediate impact.
