Automotive Mechanic

Full-Time High-Performance Technician / Race Builder Position Apex Autosports is seeking an experienced, motivated technician to join our growing team in Huntsville, Alabama. We're looking for someone who can execute at the highest level on custom car builds, race-prep work, and advanced diagnostics on complex performance vehicles. This is not a typical shop role. We want a craftsman — someone who takes pride in doing things right, can troubleshoot the problems other shops won't touch, and wants to help us build something exceptional from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing Full race builds and chassis setups (suspension geometry, corner balancing, alignment, cage work coordination) High-level mechanical repair and diagnostics on custom, modified, and exotic vehicles Performance tuning support, dyno operation, and data-driven troubleshooting Engine, drivetrain, and forced induction work on a wide variety of platforms Fabrication and custom installation work as projects demand Our Shop 5,000 sq. ft. facility with 5 lifts AWD chassis dyno incoming from Dynocom (install in progress) Dedicated diagnostic and tuning bays Equipped for everything from daily driver service to ground-up performance builds Where We're Headed Apex Autosports is in growth mode. While we haven't yet entered competitive race events, getting there is part of our roadmap — we want a technician who's excited to help build that program alongside us. There's real room to grow here, with potential support for advanced training and manufacturer certifications for the right candidate.
