  • Trust Responsibilities include Has sufficient tools for the job up to ½ inch drive.
Ability to perform services and minor repairs to tractor and trailers with guidance and little supervision. Working knowledge of computers, can follow instructions on how to navigate the work order software, Mechanics Workstation. Ability to work as an individual while on call performing tire repairs and replacements, minor repairs on equipment such as air leaks, light malfunctions, battery and cable malfunctions and trailer repairs. Mechanic 1 should have sufficient knowledge and skill level to perform PM services and most repairs with guidance and little supervision. They will be expected to ask questions and seek out information on tasks that they are unfamiliar with. Training & Development Train in all aspects of the Mechanic Position. Learn proper use of shop tools, service truck tools, and safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 2 years of tractor/trailer or heavy equipment mechanic experience. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred. (Possession of a Class A CDL is not required and can result in increased pay within the Tier) Dependable, safety conscious, and able to follow instructions. Strong customer service skills and consistent on time performance.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Hourly Pay Scale:
$26.58
  • $28.85/hr. Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages

Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
