In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems. Conduct specialized repairs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs when necessary. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to execute repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and suspension inspections to optimize vehicle performance. Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical issues. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with GM vehicles or similar brands. Demonstrated expertise in automotive electrical systems, auto estimating, welding, and auto body repair is advantageous. Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignment, and suspension work. Knowledge of powertrain components such as transmissions and drivetrain systems. Hands-on experience working with schematics for complex electrical or mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic machines confidently.
