Role:
Automotive Service Writer needed, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about the automotive industry and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Salary will be based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries and vehicle maintenance. Prepare accurate service estimates and repair orders for customers. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Maintain customer records and follow up on service recommendations. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that may arise. Ensure a clean and organized service area for customers and staff. Stay updated on automotive technology and service procedures. Assist in managing inventory and ordering of parts as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a service writer or in a similar customer service role in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in using service writing software Mitchell1 and Auto Integrate. High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certifications are a plus. Positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
