Job Description

BMW of Northwest Arkansas is seeking a dedicated and reliable Automotive Service Porter to join our team. The Service Porter will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our service area, moving vehicles, and assisting service advisors as needed. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry with a prestigious brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Handling:
Move and park vehicles in a timely and safe manner to support the flow of service operations.
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries or concerns, providing a positive first impression of our dealership.
Lot Maintenance:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service lot, showroom, and customer waiting areas.
Vehicle Prep:
Perform basic vehicle cleaning and preparation, including washing, vacuuming, and interior detailing as needed.
Support:
Assist service advisors and technicians with various tasks, including delivering parts and tools, and providing general support to the service department.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role or in a customer service environment is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
License:
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Attitude:
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the dealership.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
